Happy New Year

Sisters

Even though there is such a big gap in age (16 years) in these sisters, they always seem to find something to do with each other. I think poor Kaitlyn has played hide n' seek more than she ever did as a kid herself! :) She is a trooper and doesn't complain about it at all.
Love seeing these two together whether they are playing or just sitting and having a conversation together.

Aunts & Uncles

Being and Aunt and Uncle is so awesome! These guys love their little niece to death! They are always making sure she is okay and just love her to death!

Mia will have no chance when she gets older and starts school with these two around! :)

He Turns 7!!

Another birthday! Another year and memories to enjoy!
We celebrated Kyler's birthday early in the hopes that Kaitlyn would be able to enjoy his birthday awaiting the arival of Ms. Mia! Luckly she wasn't feeling the best, but was there to NOT miss her little brothers birthday!
Another year at Chuck E Cheese! YEAH!!

Everyone had a great time and we had a VERY helpful hostesses! Made the second time at Chuck E Cheese a little more easier to handle!

Creating A Monster

Shawnah asked me if I wanted to take Kynnedy Grace to get a pedicure with us. I was like sure I don't think she will do it, but we will see. She told me that they had this cute panda bear chair for her to sit in. I was under the asumption that it was just a chair for little girls to sit in not an acutal pedicure chair for little girls.
So when I showed up and saw the chair I was like this isn't going to be good at all! I let her pick her color out that she wanted and then sat her in the chair and I sat next to her in my chair. Was very suprised that she sat there.
I figured that they would just run some water and just paint her toes. Nope I was wrong again. They did a total pedicure on her and she just sat there and let them do it! I was so impressed that she sat there and let them do everything!
Then my girly girl wanted her fingers painted!

So we Shawnah has created a monster! I'll never be able to get a pedicure without having my little mini me with me, but I'm not complaining it was so nice to do something girly with her!

Every Little Girl Needs A.....

A Dollhouse!

This was Kynnedy Grace's big present from family and let me tell you it was and still is a big hit! This all started by going to Aunt T's house and playing with her girls dollhouse and amazed me at how she would sit there all day playing this dollhouse when there were all kinds of kids and things to do and play with.

We searched forever for a dollhouse that was a reasonable price and then she spotted one at a store and I fell in love with it and knew it was the one!

This little girl comes home everyday when I pick her up from daycare and will play with it every night! It is so cute to watch her develop into this little girl with her own personality!

Happy 3rd Birthday.....

It is that time again to celebrate a birthday of a special little girl!

We had a great time at the pool. Kynnedy showed off how she isn't afraid of the water anymore.

Greg made us all pose in the freezing cold water that was so horrible none of us were able to get in or at least us adults. It didn't seem to bother the kids at all, but it was freezing cold!

Kids had fun hitting the pinata.

And opened plenty of presents before the storm came!

The Whole Family

Touching The Sting Rays

Shawnah and I took the kids to their first trip to the Zoo for the summer. It was really hot when we went, but got there early enough to see everything and leave before it got really bad.

We decided to let the kids touch the sting rays. This was something Shawnah talked me into doing cause by no means would I ever do this! :) HA! My poor kids!

Kynnedy didn't care to much, she would of rather just watched them swim around in the water and she was totally fine with it as long as Shawnah was holding her.

Kyler he was totally opposite. He didn't care to much and was really afraid to do it at first then when one came by the first time and realized that they weren't going to hurt him they couldn't come by fast enough for him!

Kynnedy's 2nd Surgery

On September 8th Kynnedy got had her 2nd surgery. She got her ears cleaned and tubes checked out, adenoids and tonsils removed. We knew her tonsils were big (3+ size out of a 4), but became a problem with them still getting bigger and bigger and made it hard for her to breathe when she had allergy problems. We wanted to wait till she was closer to 3, but change of plans after a couple of weeks of having problems of eating and drinking became hard to do.

After 30 minutes of surgery and a long recovery time to get her settled down, we got up to our room for the night were she had a great night of sleep and was in a really good mood. We prepared ourselves for the worse and turned out to not be so bad!

Shawnah brought big brother up to see us and brought a baby doll that she loves and big brother and sister brought a ladybug pillow pet that she loves!

So far we have taken both gifts everywhere we go!
